W League Power Rankings: Week 5

McLean Soccer takes over top spot, Greenville Liberty & South Carolina United round out top 3

Week 5 of the USL W League is in the books and the Power Rankings have a new team in the top spot yet again. 

McLean Soccer is on a four match winning streak, toppling its last two opponents 4-0 and have claimed the top spot in this weeks rankings. 

Greenville Liberty SC are also undefeated through the first five weeks due in part to eight different goal scorers and great goalkeeping from Katelyn Kellogg. 

Rounding out the top three this week is South Carolina United SC who is also undefeated through five matches and currently riding a three match winning streak.

Taking the top spot this week is McLean Soccer, who is on arguably the hottest streak right now starting its season out at a perfect 4-0 and scoring at least three goals in each match. Makenna Morris has recorded a brace in both of her appearances – making her the leading scorer for the team.
Greenville Liberty SC

Week 6: vs. North Carolina Fusion
vs. Charlotte Independence
Unbeaten through five, Greenville Liberty SC currently sit atop the South Atlantic Division with four wins and a draw. Carolina Conti has tallied four goals and two assists for the Liberty so far this season.
South Carolina United FC

Week 6: vs. Southern Soccer Academy
Making the club’s first appearance on the W League Power Rankings, South Carolina United FC is currently on a three-match winning streak and undefeated through its first five matches.
Morris Elite SC

New Jersey based Morris Elite SC has held its opponents to only two goals through the first five matches of the season, putting the team at 4-0-1 and at the top of the Metropolitan Division. Morris Elite has only allowed two goals and have recorded four clean sheets
Indy Eleven

Week 6: vs. Flint City AFC
Indy Eleven returned home to Grand Park where the team returned to its winning ways - shutting out Midwest United 1-0. Katherine Soderstrom currently leads the club with five goals plus an assist.
Racing Louisville FC

Racing Louisville FC is currently riding a three-match win streak, outscoring its opponents 13-1 during the stretch. Louisville currently boasts 11 different goal scorers through the season’s first six matches.
FC Miami City

Week 6: vs. Tampa Bay United
FC Miami City was in last week’s top spot, however, without a game this past weekend the team has fallen in the rankings. Don’t worry, the team is back vying for the top spot when the club takes on Tampa Bay United in a midweek matchup on Wednesday.
Minnesota Aurora FC

Minnesota Aurora FC held off the St. Louis Lions in a 3-2 victory, bringing its record to 2-0-1 with two home matches at TCO Stadium on the horizon.
Green Bay Glory

Green Bay Glory claimed a 2-0 victory in the team’s Monday night match up against the Chicago Dutch Lions. This is the Glory’s third consecutive victory and moves its unbeaten stretch to four.
