South Georgia Tormenta FC’s Emily Burke signs professional contract with Portugal side Valadares Gaia FC

 

Former South Georgia Tormenta FC midfielder, Emily Burke, has signed her first professional contract with Valadares Gaia FC of the Campeonato Nacional Feminino in Portugal. The USL W League champion joins the First Division Portuguese side following an impressive summer with Tormenta FC.  

This summer with Tormenta FC, Burke registered 11 appearances in the regular season, scoring a goal and tallying 737 minutes. Burke also started all three playoff matches.

Hannah Tillett, who represented the Chattanooga Red Wolves this summer, joins KR Reykjavik FC

 

Former Chattanooga Red Wolf Hannah Tillett has agreed to terms with Icelandic club KR Reykjavik FC after a compelling season with the Wolves.

The 22-year-old midfielder appeared in all 12 matches for the Red Wolves, nearly closing in on a thousand minutes recorded for the Tennessee-based side. Tillett led the team in scoring with six goals on the season and added an assist. 

Prior to her summer with the Red Wolves, Tillett played for the University of Tennessee, concluding her senior season in 2021.
