Morgan Turner signs pro contract with SCU Torreense

 

Morgan Turner became the first player from Minnesota Aurora FC to sign a professional contract after the team’s impressive season came to an end in the W League Final.

Turner appeared in the Portugal-side's first match of the season on August 28 and scored in the third minute of her professional debut, helping the team secure the 2-1 victory.  

While in the W League, Turner finished the 2022 season appearing in eight regular season matches for the Aurora and all three post season matches with 635 minutes, eight goals and 16 total points on the season which led the team for the inaugural season.

Treva Aycock signs pro contract with Valadares Gaia FC

Former Auburn Tiger Treva Aycock has signed a professional contract Valadares Gaia FC. 

Aycock made 12 appearances for Southern Soccer Academy during the inaugural season of the W League, helping her team to a 4-3-5 record. 

Aycock scored three goals for the Georgia-based club, but her most impressive statistic from the season was her league-high eight assists, which earned her the title Assists Champion. 

 


Zoe Hudson signs pro contract with Valadares Gaia FC

Flint City AFC's Zoe Hudson has signed with Valadares Gaia FC based in Vila Nova Gaia in Portugal. 

Hudson was a key member of Flint City AFC's 2022 W League campaign, appearing in 10 matches. 

Hudson graduated from Bowling Green State University where she made four NCAA tournament appearances. 

Hudson becomes the third player from the W League, joining Aycock and Emily Burke, to join Valadares Gaia.
