Power Rankings June 13: Minnesota takes #2 right behind strong Glens

We have officially hit the halfway point of the 2023 USL W League season and the playoff race is heating up! 

In this week's Power Rankings SF Glens retain the top spot for a fourth consecutive week with an impressive 3-0 win against Oakland Soul. Minnesota has continued to climb the rankings, finding themselves at #2 this week after two wins against the Chicago Dutch Lions and Chicago City SC. Rounding out the top 3 is Tampa Bay United who has downed every divisional opponent, and like SF Glens and Aurora, is undefeated.

With an unblemished record of 6-0-0 and a goal differential of 27, Minnesota Aurora will next face old foe Green Bay Glory and newcomers Bavarian United for the first time this season.

v. Miami AC
June 14 / 6:00 p.m. ET 		Tampa Bay United continues to lead the Southeast Division with an unbeaten record of 7-0-0, having only allowed one goal and scoring 26 goals against their opponents. Up next Tampa will host Miami AC with hopes to maintain their winning streak.

v. McLean Soccer
June 14 / 7:30 p.m. ET 		Eagle FC has battled to earn a strong 6-0-0 record so far this season, scoring 23 goals while only conceding 5. Midfielder Meg Tate has been on a tear this season scoring 10 goals in just six matches for the Pennsylvania-based club. Eagle will take on McLean Soccer once again with hopes to complete the season sweep.

v. St. Charles FC
June 15 / 7:00 p.m. ET		 Indy Eleven made the jump to first place in the Valley Division after coming off two impressive 2-0 victories against both Racing Louisville FC and Lexington SC. Indy has only allowed one goal so far this season and will look to continue their winning ways against St. Charles FC and Kings Hammer FC this week.

June 17 / 3:30 p.m. ET		 Long Island came away with a gritty 2-1 win over FA Euro NY this weekend, remaining undefeated thus far with a 6-0-0 record. Lia Howard remains in the hunt for the Golden Boot, sitting at nine goals on the season. Long Island has a challenging matchup ahead as the Rough Riders face Morris Elite for the second time this season.

Samantha Woods currently leads the club in goals with seven. The club has another big matchup ahead against Detroit City FC, the only Great Lakes team yet to lose to Flint this season.

June 13 / 6:00 p.m. ET 		While the Courage remain undefeated and in first place in the South Atlantic Division, the club dropped points last week when they battled to a 1-1 draw with Wake FC. The Courage look to bounce back against FC Carolinas and Charlotte Independence this week.

@ Birmingham Legion FC
June 17 / 7:00 p.m. ET		 The Red Wolves are leading the pack in the South Central Division) with 20 goals for and only five goals against. Midfielder Mackenzie Smith has tallied six goals so far for the Red Wolves. Chattanooga will travel to Birmingham Legion this week on the hunt for 3 points against the current second-place team in the South Central standings.

v. Kings Hammer FC
June 14 / 6:00 p.m. ET 		Racing Louisville lost to divisional rival Indy Eleven this week, which lands the team in second place of the Valley Division. Louisville was about to bounce back with a come from behind 2-1 win against Lexington SC. This week Racing take on Kings Hammer FC and St. Charles FC where they will look to come away with 6 points.
