How we got here:

Indy Eleven 1, Minnesota Aurora FC 0

Indy Eleven was crowned the USL W League Central Conference Champions after defeating Minnesota Aurora 1-0 in a rematch from last year's semifinal.

The first half saw action all over the field with each side pushing forward, trying to secure the first goal of the match and gain momentum. Minnesota's best chance on goal came in the 17th minute after Cat Rapp got her head on a service from Mackenzie Langdok, which ended up going just wide.

The deadlock was broken in the 57th minute by Indy’s Sam Dewey, however, after a free kick was awarded from about 30 yards out. Grace Bahr sent a great ball into the penalty area that Dewey was able to put away.

Indy held on for the remainder of the match, ending Minnesota’s previously perfect season.

IND: Dewey 57’

NC Courage U23 3, Tampa Bay United 0

The Courage U23 saw chances come early with a dangerous effort from Mia Oliaro hitting the crossbar in the 16th minute.

North Carolina consistently played well through the midfield with USWNT Heather O’Reilly pulling the strings, and that helped produce the opening goal on the half-hour mark as Emily Moxley netted the first goal of the match. Aven Alvarez doubled the Courage’s lead just six minutes later, leading the team into the locker room with a two-goal cushion.

NC Courage tacked on a third goal minutes after the start of the second half and Tampa Bay was not able to break down the Courage’s strong defense despite a strong push in the final 20 minutes of the match.

NCC: Alvarez 36’
NCC: Francher 49’

SF Glens 2, Cal Storm 1

SF Glens managed to find an equalizer against the run of play moments before the halftime whistle blew when Peyton Marcisz found the back of the net in first-half stoppage time.

That set the stage for Lageyre, who scored an incredible upper 90 goal in the 87th minute to earn the Glens victory and send them into the National Semifinals in thrilling fashion.
