The United States Women's Under-19 team is set to compete in the Pan American Games for the first time since 2007, and the squad will feature a number of USL W League players.

Of the 18 players called up by U-19 Head Coach Carrie Kveton, three plied their trade in the W League this past season – Lauren Martinho, Aven Alvarez and Katie Shea Collins. Another W League player was listed as an alternate as well – Miri O’Donnell.

NC Courage U23 will have two representatives on the squad in Lauren Martinho and Aven Alvarez. Martinho played in seven matches for the Courage this past season, scoring four goals and three assists in the team’s run to the Final. For her efforts, she was also named to the USL W League Team of the Year as a second teamer.

Alvarez also played a part in the Courage’s run to the Final this year, making seven appearances for the team in 2023.

Tennessee SC’s Katie Shea Collins was also named to the US squad off the back of a fruitful season. She scored 14 goals in 12 games for the club in 2023 and was named W League Assist Champion thanks to her seven regular season assists.

San Francisco Glens SC’s Miri O’Donnell was named as an alternate to the squad. This past season, she scored four goals in her four appearances with her club.
