FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (November 1, 2023) – The Fayetteville Fury Women's Team is excited to announce its official entry into the prestigious USL W League, a move that signifies a remarkable step forward in the journey to elevate women's soccer in Fayetteville. The USL W League, renowned for its commitment to fostering talent on and off the field, aligns perfectly with our mission to empower women in sports, promote gender equity, and provide unparalleled career development opportunities for our athletes. 

The USL W League stands as the nation's premier pre-professional soccer league, bridging the gap between collegiate and professional soccer, and serving as a platform for the next generation of female soccer stars. In the league’s second season, the W League had 65 teams competing across 23 states. With expansion for the 2024 season already in full swing, the league will now be home for your very own Fayetteville Fury Women’s Team. 

The USL W League's dedication to women's soccer as a force for societal good aligns seamlessly with the core values of the Fayetteville Fury. Together, we aim to not only strengthen women's soccer but also to create a positive impact in our communities.
