GREER, S.C. - Greenville Triumph SC and Greenville Liberty SC today announced a partnership with Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP) to introduce the Triumph Taproom, a new restaurant experience at GSP. The Triumph Taproom is just the second soccer-themed restaurant and bar located in a North American airport, after City Pub at Orlando International Airport (MCO). Located in Concourse A, the restaurant features Triumph and Liberty jerseys, pictures and memorabilia throughout the space and was officially opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday.

The Triumph Taproom is the result of a partnership between GSP and Greenville Triumph SC that began on the pitch and has continued into the airport. This exciting new dining concept will offer hearty dishes and game-time favorites alongside a selection of craft beers, including local favorites from the Thomas Creek Brewery.

"We are thrilled to partner with Greenville Triumph SC to open this unique local dining concept at GSP," said Dave Edwards, President and CEO of the Greenville-Spartanburg Airport District. "This concept is the result of over a year of planning and we are confident that residents and visitors alike will revel in the opportunity to celebrate the region's passion for the beautiful game."

"We look forward to immersing a new audience into the culture of Greenville Triumph SC and Greenville Liberty SC," said Doug Erwin, Vice Chairman and Chief Brand Officer of Triumph SC and Liberty SC. "GSP is the gateway to the Upstate, and it's very exciting for us to expand our partnership with GSP in such a visible way."

Whether you are grabbing a quick pre-flight bite or celebrating another hometown victory, the Triumph Taproom offers something for everyone. Classic pub fare including beer-battered golden cod fillets and Bavarian soft pretzel sticks served with honey mustard and queso are perfect for sharing. Those feeling adventurous can try a specialty soccer-themed cocktail, such as the refreshing "Yellow Card" or the invigorating "Goalkeeper."

Triumph Taproom is operated in cooperation with Metz Culinary Management, which operates three other restaurants at GSP, including The Kitchen by Wolfgang Puck, RJ Rockers Flight Room and Chick-fil-A. The restaurant is located post-security on Concourse A and is open seven days a week from 4:30 a.m. ET until the last departure.
