Tampa, FL – Anna Haddock was announced today as the 2024 USL W League Player of the Year after her outstanding season with Tennessee SC this summer.
The midfielder from Bowling Green, Kentucky, was phenomenal for Tennessee in the regular and postseason, scoring 11 goals and adding 11 assists in 915 minutes played. Haddock scored the game-winner in two different 1-0 victories and scored both goals in the 2-1 win over Birmingham Legion that sent TSC to the playoffs.
Under Haddock’s leadership, Tennessee SC finished the regular season with a record of 9-1-2 and won its second straight division title. The club advanced to the National Semifinal, where Haddock scored from the penalty spot in the 91st minute to send the match to extra time.
During the regular season, Haddock was the only W League player to be featured on both the May and June Team of the Month. After the conclusion of the season, she was named the South Central Divisional Player of the Year and named to the USL W League Team of the Year First Team.
Haddock plays collegiately at Auburn University and is headed into her fifth season with the Tigers. She has earned multiple honors while at Auburn, including SEC All-Freshman Team (2020), First Team All-SEC (2021), Second Team All-SEC (2023) and SEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year (2023).
