Utica, Mi. & Tampa, Fla. – The United Soccer League announced today that Union FC Macomb will join the USL W League for the 2025 season. The club recently joined USL League Two in 2024.
The club was founded on its mission to advance the development of both women's and men's soccer players in Michigan, creating pathways for success at the collegiate, professional and national team levels. Union FC is committed to fostering excellence, integrity and passion for the sport by building programs that elevate the game and empower athletes to reach their full potential on and off the field.
Pittsburgh, Pa. & Tampa, Fla. – The United Soccer League announced today that Steel City FC will join both the USL W League and USL League Two beginning in 2025.
Steel City was formed in 2021 as a collaboration between youth clubs Pittsburgh Hotspurs and Arsenal FC of Pittsburgh with the goal of creating a clear developmental pathway for local players. Steel City is committed to being a full-service, innovative football club that provides a holistic, player-centered approach in an effort to foster a lifelong passion for the sport alongside pushing players to maximize their individual potential.

With the club now competing in the W League and League Two, local homegrown talent on both sides of the game will have even greater access to the highest levels of competition in our region.”
Huntington Beach, Cal. & Tampa, Fla. – The United Soccer League announced today that AMSG Fútbol Club will join the USL W League beginning in the 2025 season. The club previously joined USL League Two in 2024.
AMSG FC was formed in 2017 with a mission to nurture soccer talent and create a professional pathway for aspiring athletes. Initially focused on technical and tactical player development, AMSG expanded its vision to include professional training and youth outreach programs. Known for its emphasis on performance excellence and community engagement, the club continues to shape the future of soccer in the area by fostering young talent and building strong local connections.

Newburgh, NY. & Tampa, Fla. – The United Soccer League announced today that Hudson Valley Crusaders is set to join the USL W League beginning in the 2025 season.
Hudson Valley Crusaders was founded in February 2021 by Hannah Esslie, who became the youngest founder of a soccer club in the United States after starting the Crusaders at just 16 years old. Esslie and the club are committed to providing opportunities to female athletes, coaches and professionals in athletics, continuing the local and national push for equity for women in sports.
“The Hudson Valley Crusaders are ecstatic to join the W League and host this level of soccer in Newburgh,” said Esslie. “The league is a great platform to allow the women in our program to elevate their game and test their abilities, as the Hudson Valley area is saturated with talented female athletes. We are excited to make waves and continue the success we have seen in past years in the W League this summer.”
Rochester, NY & Tampa, Fla. – The United Soccer League announced today that Flower City 1872 will join the USL W League for the 2025 season.
Flower City 1872 was founded in 2023, joining the club’s men’s pre-professional team Flower City Union. The club is committed to positively impacting the Rochester area and honoring the city’s rich soccer history by fielding a competitive team and supporting the development of local talent. The club embraces diversity and aims to reflect the faces and voices of the region.
"Joining the USL W League is an exciting step forward for our club, as it allows us to compete at a higher level but also strengthens our commitment to further developing both the game and the next generation of female leaders,” said Casey Catlin, Flower City 1872 and Flower City Union General Manager. “We eagerly anticipate the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead in the USL as we continue to grow our club. Buffalo, NY & Tampa, Fla. – The United Soccer League announced today that FC Buffalo will join the USL W League for the 2025 season. The club previously joined USL League Two in 2023.
FC Buffalo was founded in 2009 as a men’s pre-professional team before launching its women’s side in 2021. The club, also known as the Blitzers, is committed to its vision to serve, inspire, and showcase the city of Buffalo through competitive soccer, while striving to elevate the production of young talent in Western New York.
"FC Buffalo is honored to join the USL W League for the 2025 season,” said club Co-Owner Nick Mendola. “The USL's work in the women's game has been an inspiration, and our club's ability to join this exciting set-up keeps us on our path to serve the game in our city. Toledo, Oh. & Tampa, Fla. – The United Soccer League announced today that Toledo Villa FC is expanding to field a USL W League team set to begin competing in the 2025 season. The club joined USL League Two in 2021 and USL Youth and Academy earlier this year.
The club was formed in 2017 with a vision to create a high quality on-field product, develop players who are committed to upholding the traditions of the game, inspire young athletes for the future, and become a model business that positively impacts the community.
“The USL W League is the nation's premier pre-professional women's soccer league. We are ecstatic to provide this opportunity to the incredibly talented women's soccer community in the Toledo Area,” said Aaron Swiggum, Toledo Villa FC Owner. “Showcasing our local talent will be a great experience for our community, and more importantly, will provide our local youth with an experience to see role models in the sport they love.”
Annapolis, Md. & Tampa, Fla. – The United Soccer League announced today that Annapolis Blues FC is set to join the USL W League beginning in the 2025 season.
Annapolis Blues was founded in 2022 as a men’s pre-professional club, launching with a campaign that saw thousands of local soccer fans vote on the name and crest. The
club’s mission is to grow the sport in Annapolis through its community-first philosophy and supportive fanbase.

Maple Valley, WA & Tampa, FL – The United Soccer League announced today that a new club Bigfoot Football Club in Maple Valley, WA will compete in the USL League Two and USL League W beginning in 2025.
Bigfoot Football Club of Maple Valley is founded by Shawn Norris, the Founder and CEO of West Coast Goalkeeping, America’s largest goalkeeping outfitter. Bigfoot Football Club will be committed to local partnerships within the Maple Valley, bringing elite-level men’s and women’s soccer to the region.
“West Coast Gloves are used all over the world, from the World Cup to the Premier League, thanks to the support of Maple Valley,” Norris said. “This is an amazing opportunity to bring the community together, having both a USL 2 and USL W team!” Bigfoot FC will partner with the City of Maple Valley and Tahoma School District.
San Juan Capistrano, Ca. & Tampa, Fla. – The United Soccer League today announced that Capistrano FC is expanding to field a USL W League team set to begin competing in the 2025 season. The club joined USL League Two in 2024.
Capistrano FC, or “Capo FC”, was founded in 2006 with a goal of building strong players on the foundation of good character and a reliable work ethic, seen as key qualities for success both on and off the field. The club focuses on teaching fundamental life skills alongside intelligent play, attributing their success to the collective drive, skill and intelligence of their players.
Seattle, Wa. & Tampa, Fla. – The United Soccer League announced today that West Seattle Rhodies FC will compete in the USL W League beginning in the 2025 season. The club will act as the W League counterpart to USL League Two’s West Seattle Junction FC.
Their crest features the resilient rhododendrons, a flower with a long history in Seattle, that also serves as the symbol of the club.
Rooted in the vibrant West Seattle community, the club aims to foster a culture of inclusivity, excellence, and shared growth, building lasting connections through the beautiful game.
Santa Clarita, Ca. & Tampa, Fla. – The United Soccer League announced today that SC Blue Heat will compete in the USL W League starting in the 2025 season.
SC Blue Heat was established in 2010, with the goal of helping to grow women’s soccer and providing opportunities and a pathway for the upcoming generation of female players. The club places value in “quality against quantity,” looking to offer their players with the best possible growth, staff, and experience to help them grow and reach new heights.
