Los Angeles, Calif. & Tampa, Fla. – The United Soccer League announced today that Los Angeles Soccer Club will join the USL W League beginning in the 2026 season.

Los Angeles SC was founded in 2019 and has since become one of the largest youth soccer clubs in Southern California with over 100 boys and girls teams of all ages across Los Angeles County. The club’s mission is to empower the community and change lives through sports by providing an inclusive environment that inspires, empowers and supports its youth.

“Los Angeles SC is thrilled to be joining the USL W League,” said Brian Waltrip, Executive Director. “We are committed to providing a platform which bridges the gap between youth, college, and professional levels fostering player development and inspiring our community.”

Los Angeles SC strives to promote its key values of character, empathy, trust, accountability and grit, while also representing its diverse community. The club offers camps and clinics as well as education to aspiring coaches. Additionally, LASC began a scholarship program with the goal of allowing more athletes to participate regardless of financial situation.

The club will play its home matches at Spartan Stadium in La Cañada, CA, as a member of the SoCal Division.

“Los Angeles SC has built one of the most impactful youth clubs in Southern California, and expanding to the W League is a natural next step,” said Joel Nash, USL SVP of Youth and Pre-Professional Properties. “LASC’s commitment to inclusion, character-building and bridging a pathway from youth to professional aligns perfectly with our vision. We’re excited to see what LASC brings both on and off the field next season.”
